The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has decided to certify that products of two Korean companies seriously damage American competitors in the washing machine market in the US by 7th.
In the ITC vote, the damage assessment was 4 votes, and the opposite votes were zero. Following this conclusion, the Trump regime has made it possible to impose restrictions on washing machines that Korean Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics sell within the United States.
In May this year, US competitor Whirlpool insisted on continuing US trade-related law violation by two companies including Samsung and asked ITC for protective measures.
