ロシア政府発表：
- 10月16日の１日当たり
- 新規感染者数は３万３２０８人、
- 死者数は１００２人だった。
新規感染者：
1日で、３万人を超すのは、１４日から３日連続だ。
死亡者数：
1日で、死者が１千人を突破したのは初めてだ。
ともに過去最多を記録した。
