コナ・エレクトリック（EV）１月11日
現代自のコナ・エレクトリック（EV）が、火災事故を発生した。
「出火原因がバッテリーではない可能性がある」と調査当局が判断した。
コナEVは、過去にも数件の火災事故を発生した。
これまで、火災原因はバッテリーの欠陥だと考えられていた。
韓国自動車安全研究院（KATRI）：
１月12日、
忠清南道泰安郡で発生したコナEV火災事故につき、消防当局およびメーカーと調査を進めている。
火災原因の調査：
KATRIは、「火災原因は、バッテリーではない」とみている。
研究院は前日、現場の鑑識を実施。
「バッテリーから、火が出ていなかったこと」を確認した。
これまで発生したコナEVの火災事故のうち、
「バッテリーから火が出ていないケース」は今回が初めてだ。

Hyundai Motor’s Kona EV Catches Fire while Driving
Fire broke out
in a recalled Kona electric vehicle that underwent a battery replacement last year, embarrassing the vehicle’s producer, Hyundai Motor Co.
The fire department
has launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, and the industry’s attention is focused on it.According to the fire department,
a Kona EV caught fire while driving on a road in Taean,
South Chungcheong Province, at around 6:46 p.m. on Jan. 11.The vehicle was a 2020 model, and the battery replacement was completed following the recall in September last year.
