情報筋によると、引退を計画しているという。
宮城厩舎に所属、36歳の相撲レスラー。
7月に名古屋グランドトーナメントを無敗で完勝。
45回目のトーナメントタイトルを獲得。
しかし右膝の怪我から、完全に回復出来ませんでした。
