スーパーコンピューター1－3号機を、7920万ウォン（742万円）で売却したことが、10月8日までにわかった。
購入時、総額1192億ウォン（111億8000万円）を支払ったもの。
慣例でスクラップ処理：
- 当初、1台数百億ウォンのスパコンを購入。
- 交換時期に、性能低下がないにも拘らず、
- 「スクラップ処理を行っていた」という。

海外では、自国で研究用に再利用したり、他国に寄付している。
対策検討の必要性：
権議員は海外の事例を確認した。
- 調達あるいは購入の段階で、
- 廃棄時の条項が決められており、
- 研究機関用としてリサイクルされる。
または、外交用として低開発国に寄付されている。
