新型コロナウイルスの世界的な感染拡大の中、
X線検査室への移動が制限される感染症患者の肺炎診断のため、
病棟やICU（集中治療室）で利用できる回診用X線撮影装置の需要が急増しています。
回診用X線撮影装置：
本装置は、検査が必要な患者のベッドサイドまで装置を移動させて、その場でX線撮影を行います。
約2秒後には本体モニタに画像を表示させて、医師の診断を支援する機器です。
- 患者の容体の把握、
- 人工呼吸器装着の必要性の判断、
- 利便性の高い回診用X線撮影装置が有用。
- 院内ネットワークへの画像転送も可能。
感染症患者専用に導入：
この回診用X線撮影装置は、入院可能な病院の多くに設置されています。
しかし、一般の患者の診断のためにも日常的に使用されるため、
感染症患者専用に導入したいというニーズが世界中で高まっています。

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread throughout the world, moving the infected (or potential) patients to X-ray examination rooms shall be strictly restricted,
therefore the demand for mobile X-ray systems that can be used to diagnose pneumonia in the isolated patient rooms or intensive care units (ICUs) is sharply increasing.
Digital Mobile X-ray systems
are to be moved to the bedside of patients and enable radiography just there on-the-spot,
then X-ray images can be immediately displayed on its built-in monitor within about two seconds.
Therefore, the systems are considered especially effective for judging the patient’s condition and deciding whether or not ventilator is necessary.
The systems can also transmit images to the in-hospital network server.
As such useful mobile X-ray systems
have been introduced at many hospitals with in-patient capabilities,
the systems
are also used for routine diagnoses to general patients. Therefore, the demand for introducing dedicated systems that are used only for patients with infectious diseases is rapidly growing around the world.
