BMW「ミニ」 が完全EV転換：
9月11日、英国工場でのEV製造完全転換に向け、BMWが計6億ポンド投資する。
小型車「ミニ」製造工場：
対象となるのは、小型車「ミニ」を製造する英国の2製造工場。
オックスフォードの車体製造工場およびスウィンドンの車体プレス工場
オックスフォード工場を完全EV化：
2019年から、小型車「ミニ」の現行EVを製造。
2026年から、今回の投資で新型EVを製造開始予定。
2030年には、すべての製造車両がEVとなる見込み。
政府がEV製造支援：
EVの新工場やアップグレードを支援。
英国は、自動車産業の将来にわたっての繁栄をめざす。

2023年9月7日、自動車大手ステランティスが、1億ポンドの投資する。
英国エルズミアポート工場をEV専用工場に転換し、生産を開始した。
Electric vehicle production begins at unique plant：
Stellantis’s factory in Ellesmere Port is the UK’s only dedicated manufacturing plant for the vehicles.
Electric vans such as the Vauxhall Combo Electric, Opel Combo Electric, Citroen e-Berlingo and Fiat E-Doblo
will be made at the site.
Plant director Diane Miller said:
“The start of electric vehicle production at Ellesmere Port signals a bright future for the plant, ensuring it will continue to manufacture vehicles for many years to come.
A £100m investment by Stellantis secured the future of the former Vauxhall car manufacturing site.
