「韓国銀行がＦＲＢと締結した通貨スワップが、２０２１年内で終了すること」が決まった。
米国は２０２２年３回利上げ：
米国は来年、３回の利上げを予定している。
ウォン暴落や韓国の資金流出懸念が残る。
実際に利上げが始まれば、
- 資金がドルに流れて、
- 対ドルでウォン安に傾き、
- 韓国の資金が国外に流出する。
駐韓米国大使も空席状態のままだ。
韓国は、米国に見放されたのか？

韓国は、「２０２０年３月に米国と、６００億ドルのスワップ協定」を締結した。
期限は２０２１年９月末だが、延長を繰り返していた。
韓国に、総額１９８億７２００万ドル（２兆２６００億円）が供給された。
昨年７月に、返済されたという。
駐韓米国大使が空席：
駐韓米国大使任命をめぐって、米韓で不穏な空気が流れている。
１２月１８日、駐日米大使としてラーム・エマニュエル氏が任命された。
オーストラリアやインドなども続々と大使が任命された。
しかし駐韓米国大使は、いまだ人選が未定だ。

S.Koreas $60 bn currency swap contract with US to expire on Dec 31
The BOK said that
the expiration of the currency swap deal will not have much impact on Seoul’s foreign currency marketgiven the improved liquidity and other financial conditions, such as a sufficient amount of foreign reserves.
The central bank
had earlier said that its foreign reserves came to $463.91 billion as of end-November.The currency swap deal
marked the second of its kind signed with the US after a won-dollar swap line signed in October 2008 at the height of the global financial crisis.Except the deal with the US, South Korea has bilateral currency swap arrangements
with eight countries, including Australia, Canada and China. –IANS
