Shimadzu : To improve the performance of steel and semiconductors – Increasing the analytical capacity of boron by 3times
Shimadzu Corporation has developed a luminescence analysis system using a soft X-ray emission spectrometer (SXES) for electron microscopy in collaboration with industry, government and academia.
Nippon Denshi Kaisha commercialized the emission analysis system in 2013.
Many people wanted to improve “analytical strength of boron (affecting the performance of steel materials and semiconductor devices)” for this equipment.
If this equipment is realized, weight reduction and high strength of the steel sheet can be attained.
In addition, automobile fuel economy is improved, high efficiency of semiconductor devices, energy saving can be achieved.
