NSK：接到大众的订单，EV电动助力转向系统：2023年开始量产
日本精工（NSK）：
2021年3月1日、ドイツVolkswagenから「EV向け電動パワーステアリング（EPS）の受注」を獲得したと発表した。
2023年にNSK・中国工場で量産を開始し、VWの世界拠点に供給していく。
Volkswagen Group Components
今後VWは、EV用の部品開発及び内製化を強化する。
- 2019年1月、Volkswagen Group Componentsを設立。
- 2019年5月、NSKとステアリング開発での協業契約を締結。
VWグループとNSK：
協業の第1弾として、VWのMEB（Modular Electric Drive Toolkit）向けに、ピニオン式EPSを共同開発した（図1）
ピニオン式EPS：
現在「量産中のVW・MEBに、搭載されているEPS」は、ピニオン式だ。
今回の部品は、第2世代の製品となる。
VW・MEB向けEPSの第1世代品は、他社が部品を供給していた。
ピニオン式 EPSの仕組み：
- モーターのトルクを増幅する減速機、
- 操舵力を検知するトルクセンサー、
- 舵角を検知する舵角センサー、
ECU（電子制御ユニット）で構成する。

Cooperation with Volkswagen Shows First Success for Steering
In June 2019,
NSK Ltd. and Volkswagen AG
have announced a formal cooperation agreement between the companies’ steering division
with the aim to further increase the power of innovation in steering.
As first success, joint development of higher power single pinion electric power steering (EPS) system for VW’s electric vehicle MEB platform is completed and awarded.
First production will start in 2023 at NSK plant in China
and will be supplied to VW’s electric vehicle plants globally.
