ストーリー:
うだつの上がらない街頭の写真師バスターが、
映画会社の受付嬢サリーに一目惚れする。
彼女の気を引くためにニュース映画のカメラマンに、
転身しようと奮闘する。
ニュース記者の苦労は耐え難く、讃美さるべき。
キートンはカメラを肩に、浮世の姿を活冩する
支那街の動乱、モーターボート競漕…..
「笑ひとスピードスリル」が全編に溢れる！
「お猿さん」の相棒：
撮影に失敗するキートンの前に、途中で賢い「お猿さん」が相棒として現れます。
この猿が、ピンチに陥ったキートンを救うための重要な鍵を握る。
チャイナタウンでの暴動：
チャイナタウンで抗争事件に巻き込まれながらも、
命がけで特ダネを回し続ける。
