💉Preparation of highly purified human iPS cell-derived retinal ganglion cells
Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine Graduate School of Medicine Professor Toru Nakazawa , Graduate Kobayashi , Research Center for Multidisciplinary System Research, RIKEN Project leader, Atsushi Ohnishi collaborative research group succeeded in producing high quality and high purity retinal ganglion cells from human artificial pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells).
This research is expected to contribute to the development of human retinal ganglion cell research which had been difficult except for alternative studies in animal models.
