現在、米国の成人30％が、デートアプリまたはウェブサイトを使用しています。
2013年は、わずか11％でしたが、急激に増加しています。
米国成人（12％）が、オンラインデートにより､長期的な関係を保っているとのこと。
しかし、ハラスメントに関する重要な問題が浮上しています。
The study found that
37% of online dating users said someone on a site or app continued to contact them after they said they were not interested,
35% said they were sent an explicit message or image they didn’t ask for
28% were called an offensive name.
A smaller percentage (9%) said they were threatened with physical harm.
Across the board, these numbers were much higher for women than for men, the study found.
