欧州委員会は、EUの独占禁止法違反で、Googleに44億4000万ユーロの罰金を命じました。
Googleは2011年以来、自社のAndroid端末で支配的地位確立し、他の事業者を違法に排除してきました。
現在同社は、90日以内での改善措置実行、又は親会社・売上高の最大5％のペナルティ支払を求められています。
