株式会社村田製作所は、金属面に取り付けることが可能なRAIN*1 RFIDタグ”LXFLANMXMG-003”を商品化し、年内に量産を開始します。工事現場の資材や工具、IT機器、物流カートやコンテナなどの金属物の管理が主な用途となります。 なお、当製品は、2017年9月13日～15日に東京ビッグサイトで開催される第19回自動認識総合展に出展いたします。 村田製作所

Murata introduces RAIN RFID tag for on metal use.
RFID tags on metal can be challenging because metal surfaces reflect the signal emitted from the reader and interfere with communication between a tag and reader. However, Murata has patented many technologies that allow RFID tags to work in conjunction with metal objects. The LXFLANMXMG-003 is designed to use the item’s metal surface as part of the antenna, which makes the item itself part of the RAIN RFID tag. Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
