Papua New Guinea (April 2019),
In the ODA loan project, we have received orders for low-loss, large-capacity electric wires for a total of 9,300 km.
Recently, the overhead power transmission line business in Asia is accelerating.
Low-loss large-capacity wires: main features
The low-loss, large-capacity electric wire developed by our company uses “a material with 1.3 times the strength of the conventional steel core”.
Reduce the diameter of the steel core,
A trapezoidal aluminum wire is placed on the outside without gaps,
Raising the space factor of aluminum.
as a result,
Maintains the outer diameter and tensile strength of the wire (equivalent to conventional wire),
Can lower the electrical resistance,
Transmission loss can be reduced by 20 to 25%.
