タカタ米国法人ＴＫホールディングス、自動車メーカーに対する訴訟の停止を要請
［ウィルミントン（米デラウェア州）／ワシントン ８日 ロイター］ – 破産法の適用を申請したタカタ7312.Tの米国法人ＴＫホールディングスは、欠陥エアバッグで負傷した米国の被害者が起こした自動車メーカーに対する訴訟の停止を９日に連邦裁判所に求める方針。原告側の弁護士は「破産法の乱用」だと批判している。
ＴＫホールディングスは６月に破産法の適用を申請。これに伴い、事故による死傷、経済損失、消費者保護法違反を根拠とする同社に対する訴訟は、自動的に停止された。同社は７月には、自動車メーカーに対する訴訟の仮差し止めも請求した。 Reuters
