New Japanese Industrial Park opened in Chennai
On April 26, the opening ceremony of the Origins Chennai Industrial Park, which Sumitomo Corporation jointly developed with the local Mahindra Group, was held.

Located along National Road No.16, about 40 kilometers north of Chennai city center, where the automobile industry is concentrated.
The area completed this time is 107 hectares developed as the first phase.
Two Japanese companies have already decided to make inroads, such as the construction of the engine plant by the tractor maker Yanmar.
