RDIF Leads Investor Group into Waste-to-Energy Recycling Projects Across Russia.
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Japanese-Swiss company Hitachi Zosen Inova AG, and LLC RT-Invest, moved closer to implement “Energy from Waste”, a project involving the construction of four waste-to-energy plants in the Moscow region and one in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Central Ring Road in Moscow is a key infrastructure project in the country with hopes of lessening traffic congestion and boosting domestic economy activity.
It is one of the biggest road infrastructure projects in modern history. The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), AVTOBAN Road-Building Company, a road building company, and Makyol, a Turkish construction company, agreed to form a consortium, which will oversee the implementation of a concession agreement to build and operate the fourth section of the Moscow Central Ring Road.

OMERS Infrastructure Dives Deeper on Thames Water
The Ontario Municipal Employees’ Retirement System’s infrastructure arm has bought an additional 4% in the holding company of Thames Water, the United Kingdom’s largest water utility, for an undisclosed amount.
Upon final closing of the deal, which is expected to take place later this year, OMERS Infrastructure will hold a total stake in the water company of 32%.
