SoftBank Vision Fund Leads Series C in Brain Corporation |
San Diego-based Brain Corporation, a artificial intelligence (AI) startup focused on self-driving technologies, raised US$ 114 million in a Series C round. The Series C round was led by the SoftBank Vision Fund. Other investors in the round include Qualcomm Ventures, the investment arm of Qualcomm Incorporated. Qualcomm Ventures was Brain’s first institutional investor. The capital will be used to invest into more AI technology and create “brains” for varying types of commercial and consumer robots.
