プロジェクト概要：
海底を中心とした全長725キロに及ぶ世界最大規模送電線プロジェクト。
総工費は24億ポンド（4000億円）
「双方向に最大140万キロワットの電力を送ること」が可能となる。
2028年の運用開始を目指す。

Le coût total de la construction est de 2,4 milliards de livres sterling (400 milliards de yens)
Il sera possible “d’envoyer jusqu’à 1,4 million de kilowatts d’électricité dans les deux sens”.
Objectif de démarrer l’exploitation en 2028.

Es könne “bis zu 1,4 Millionen Kilowatt Strom in beide Richtungen geschickt werden”.

Loan agreements signed by NeuConnect for interconnector Project between UK and Germany

in conjunction with Meridiam,

The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. (Kansai),
has entered into project finance loan agreements with a loan syndication for the funding of the NeuConnect Interconnector Project (Project) on 21th July.
The Project is scheduled to commence the commercial operation in 2028.
The Project will enable a direct electricity interconnection
between UK and Germany and will contribute to enhancing energy security as well as advancing de-carbonization through the efficient use of surplus renewable energy in both countries.
A net reduction of approximately 13 million tons of CO2 emission over 25 years of commercial operation is estimated.
Kansai will, through implementation of this first-ever interconnector project by a consortium involving Japanese utility company, contribute to energy security and de-carbonization.
