Tokyo, Sept. 14 (Jiji Press)–The number of new condominiums put up for sale in the greater Tokyo area in August grew 6.9 pct from a year earlier to 2,101 units, an industry survey showed Thursday.
According to the Real Estate Economic Institute, supply in Tokyo’s densely populated 23 wards soared 71.3 pct to 1,067 units, accounting for more than half of the total number for the Japanese capital and three neighboring prefectures–Kanagawa, Saitama and Chiba. JIJI PRESS
