The salary level of general employees in each company was clarified.

According to the newspaper, the leading companies with the highest median employee salary in the United States are:

Texas-based Philips 66 ($ 196,407)

ExxonMobil ($ 171,375) was second.

Top companies: by head office location (see table)

Most in Texas and California, and by industry, energy, finance and medicine were the top.
