Russia (ASM): Russia Passenger car production in 2018 – 16% increase over the previous year

Production volume of passenger cars (see figure)
Production volume of passenger cars in Russia in 2018 increased by 16.0% from the previous year to 1,563,600 units.
It surpassed the previous year for the second consecutive year.
Breakdown of passenger car production:
Russian cars: 414,900 units (up 18.1% from the previous year)
Foreign cars: 1,148,700 units (15.1% increase over the previous year)
Breakdown by brand:
Russian brand “RADA”: 19.1% increase over the previous year.
Foreign brands (foreign brand car manufacturers in St. Petersburg): Toyota, Nissan, Today’s total: 8.5% increase over the previous year.
Renault: 3.5% increase over the previous year.
“Aftol” in Kaliningrad State: 47.2% increase over the previous year.
