INSEAD: International Human Resources Competitiveness Index – Swiss ranked first

INSEAD, a management school with a campus in Abu Dhabi in the French Paris suburbs, Singapore, United Arab Emirates,
2019 International Human Resources Competitiveness Index (GTCI) was announced (January 21).
GTCI compares the human resources competitiveness of each country and city, it is the sixth since it began in 2013.
In 2019 version:

Training environment
Growth of startup
Ripple effect on other industries
Evaluation was made with emphasis on.
In country-specific GTCI: (see Table 1)
1st place: Switzerland, 6 times in a row
Second place: Singapore
3 rd place: USA
In city-specific GTCI: (see Table 2)
1st place: Washington
Second place: Copenhagen
3 rd place: Oslo
4th place: Vienna
5th place: Zurich
In the index of the previous year, Zurich was No. 1, but it gave four ranks.
Japan GTCI:
It ranked 22nd behind France in terms of country, dropping two ranks from the previous year.
In the report, the correlation between per capita GDP and GTCI has been pointed out.
In Japan, per capita GDP has been sluggish over the past 10 years.
Therefore, it is said to receive a lower evaluation than other developed countries.
