Russia: 2019 passenger car production: slightly lower than last year (Aftstat)

Avtostat, an automotive research company:
Russia’s production of passenger cars in 2019 is down by 2.7% year-on-year to about 1.51 million units.
It turned negative for the first time in three years.
Production volume: Breakdown
Russian brand vehicles: down 1.5% to approximately 310,000 vehicles, foreign brand vehicles: down 3.0% to approximately 1.2 million vehicles.

AVTOVAZ: Ended contract production of the Nissan Almera in October 2018.
Hyundai: Contract production of the “Kia” and “Hyundai” brands at the automobile assembly company Afttor in Kaliningrad. It increased from the previous year.

Renault,
Toyota,
PSA / Mitsubishi (PCMA) keep growing
Russia / Gaz increase production of Skoda brand
Germany: Daimler
Production of the “Mercedes-Benz” E-class started in Moscow State in April 2019.
China: Great Wall Motor
Production of the Haval SUV started in June 2019 in Tula.
