It was 1,519,440 units (down 9.1% from the previous year).

Approximately 80% are for export, the major breakdown of export destination is EU 52.6%

United States of America 17.9%

China 6.1%

Japan 3.3%

Production volume of major manufacturers has declined from the previous year (see Table 2).

Nissan, Toyota, Honda’s total production of three Japan-affiliated companies accounts for about half of the total.

EV new car registration number

141,234 units (20.9% increase from the previous year), and the share of the passenger car as a whole was 5.8% (see Table 5)
