Eight car companies: global production in 2019
The global production of eight domestic passenger cars in 2019 was 27.55 million units, down 4% from the previous year.
The effects of the US-China trade friction widened, demand in Asia declined, and the domestic consumption tax hike affected domestic demand.
8 companies: Overseas production: 5.7% decrease to 18.34 million units,
8 companies: Domestic production: decreased by 0.2% to 9.21 million units.
Of the eight companies, only two companies, Toyota and Daihatsu, produced more global production than last year.
By manufacturer: Production volume
Toyota increased by 1.8% to 9.05 million units.
Nissan Motor sales fell 9.6% to 4.95 million units.
Honda also fell 3.4% to 5.17 million units.
While sales of major demand in the United States and China were sluggish, the contrast between the companies was divided.
