Czech: New car production decline in 2019: not reached in 2018

Passenger car production in 2019 was 1,427,563 units, down 0.7% from the record high of 2018.

Skoda: [VW Group]

Skoda’s production is 907,942 units, the only of the three domestic manufacturers to increase year on year.

Hyundai:

Expects a 6.6% decrease in production from 340,300 in 2018 to 318,000 in 2019.

However, it eventually fell by 9.1% to 309,500 units.

TPCA: [Joint venture between Toyota and PSA]

Production decreased by 0.4% year-on-year, but exceeded the plan by 210,121 units.

Because of its high quality and low displacement, it is especially popular in France, Germany, the UK, Italy and the Netherlands.

On January 14, TPCA announced that it would start production of the Toyota Yaris (Witz) in addition to three types of small cars.
