Italy (UNRAE): 2018 new car registrations-first decline in five years

Foreign car agency union (UNRAE): February 5 announced (see Table 1)
The number of new car registrations in Italy in 2018 decreased by 3.1% from the previous year to 1,909,952.
It has fallen for the first time in five years since 2013.
Diesel vehicles down 12.1% YoY: down overall numbers
Gasoline vehicles: Expand market share, hybrid cars also grow
Unit share by brand: (See Table 2)
The number of first-place Fiats fell 19.8% to 318,729 units,
The jeep climbed to 7th at 70.8%.

Toyota’s 3.0% increase to 87,832
Nissan’s 54,604 units down 12.9%
