JAXA: “Hayabusa 2” moment of landing – First public presentation of video

Asteroid explorer “Hayabusa 2”:

released the video of the moment when touchdown (landing immediately after leaving) to the asteroid “Ryugu” was released for the first time.

“Hayabusa 2” landed at “Ryuguu” at 7:29 on February 22.

We are trying to collect rocks of “Ryugu”, which is said to retain the properties of the early solar system formation.
