Iwatani: Acquires US industrial gas operator: Advanced Specialty Gases (ASG)

On October 25, Iwatani, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Iwatani Corporation, finally agreed to acquire and acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of the US industrial gas dealer ‘Advanced Specialty Gases (ASG)’.
Iwatani Sangyo / USA Iwatani will expand the industrial gas business and strengthen profitability in the United States.

Iwatani, USA was established in 1979.
We are developing mainly in the industrial gas business and materials business.
In April this year, we started operating a hydrogen station in California.
Going forward, we aim to expand sales of semiconductor gas in the North American market.
ASG sells semiconductor gas
ASG’s main business is selling special gas to major power companies.
We are also good at semiconductor gas handling and have our own manufacturing and logistics bases.
