-Aiming to establish clean and low-cost hydrogen production technology-

Since 2018, we have been constructing hydrogen production equipment in Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture.

The hydrogen production facility is equipped with the world’s largest / 10MW hydrogen production equipment using renewable energy.

Fukushima Hydrogen Energy Research Field: (FH2R)

FH2R was completed and started operation at the end of February.

Hydrogen production capacity of 1,200 Nm3 / hour (at rated operation) from renewable energy.
Adjustment of supply and demand for the power system to maximize the use of renewable energy power with large output fluctuations.
We aim to establish clean, low-cost hydrogen production technology.

Fields of use:

It will be used for power generation for stationary fuel cells and mobility for fuel cell vehicles and fuel cell buses.
