Iwatani: New plant in China
Jiaxing Iwatani, a consolidated subsidiary of Iwatani Corporation (headquartered in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China), will construct a new air-separated gas and hydrogen gas plant on its premises.
Targeted operation in May 2021.
The investment is expected to be about 3 billion yen.

Jiaxing Iwatani is a group company mainly responsible for gas production in East China.

Air-separated gas: Manufacture and sale of oxygen, nitrogen and argon,
Carbon dioxide gas, helium gas: We manufacture and sell.

Air separate gas: Expansion of ASU
China’s air-separated gas sales volume is growing year by year, exceeding the existing ASU manufacturing capacity.
A new ASU will be added on the site of Jiaxing Iwatani to meet demand, and sales will be conducted mainly in the East China area.
This expansion will increase the production capacity of air separate gas by about 2.5 times.
Hydrogen gas: Sales of compressed hydrogen
Hydrogen gas has been procured from a Chinese hydrogen manufacturer and sold in China.
In the future, a hydrogen plant will be built in Jiaxing Iwatani, and sales will be conducted mainly in the East China area in the form of compressed hydrogen.
