Toyota: FCV system production in China: Beijing Billion Hua Communication Technology

Beijing Billion Hua Communication Technology:

On March 29, an agreement was reached with Beijing Billion Hua Tong Technology Co., Ltd. of China to establish a joint venture to produce fuel cell systems for commercial vehicles.
Huafeng Fuel Cell System:
The joint venture will be established by Toyota and Beijing Billion Hua Tong Technology with a 50-50 investment in “Huafeng Fuel Cell Co., Ltd.” with a total investment of about 8 billion yen.
Joint Venture’s first product:
Based on Toyota Mirai’s fuel cell system, it will be a fuel cell system for commercial vehicles with increased output.
Introduced Toyota Production System:
The joint venture plans to start production of fuel cell systems and stacks in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone from 2023.
The Toyota Production System will be introduced to flexibly meet the needs of the market while producing.
