Thailand (FTI): October Automobile production: Recovered to the same level as the same month last year

October vehicle production: (see attached table and figure)
On November 17, the production volume for October 2020 was announced.
The year-on-year decrease was 2.2% to 149,360 units.
It has been negative for 18 consecutive months.
For overseas / domestic:
Overseas production:
67,203 units, accounting for 45.0% of the total, down 19.7% year-on-year
Domestic sales:
Domestic sales accounted for 55.0% of the total, up 18.8% to 82,157 units.
Passenger cars / commercial vehicles:
Passenger cars decreased 4.7% to 58,789 units,
Commercial vehicles decreased by 0.6% to 90,571 units.
Cumulative from January to October:
Cumulative production:
The year-on-year decrease was 35.5% to 1,112,426 units.
Exports decreased 35.8% to 576,626 units,
Domestic sales decreased 35.2% to 535,800 units.
By department
Passenger cars decreased by 38.9% to 422,598 units,
Commercial vehicles decreased by 33.3% to 689,828 units.
October sales volume:
74,114 units decreased by 1.4% from the same month of the previous year.
It has been negative for 17 consecutive months.
