-BMV doubles EV battery production in China-
Brilliance Auto: (a joint venture between BMW and Brilliance Auto)
On September 14, Huashin Baouma Automobile announced that it has completed preparations for production of the 5th generation battery pack for BMW / EV in China.
BMW-Brilliance Automotive has a battery factory called “High Voltage Battery Center” in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.
In the future, it will be possible to produce twice as many in-vehicle batteries as before.
Sale of BMW iX3:
The high-voltage battery center will play a leading role in the launch of the “BMW iX3” (President of Huashin Baouma Automobile, Johann Wieland)
VW and Audi also focus on the Chinese market:
Volkswagen (VW):
On September 28, it announced plans to invest about 15 billion euros (about 17.44 billion dollars) in EV production in China, the world’s largest, between 2020 and 2024 (Note 3).

With Anhui Jianghuai Automobile (JAC)
Invest by three joint ventures.
By 2025, it plans to manufacture “15 battery-replaceable EV or PHV vehicles in China.”
