COVID-19:

“Appeal”, Aomori Industrial Technology Center, Tohoku University jointly developed.

Heart-lung machine:

“ECMO” is said to be the last fortress to save the critically ill of viral infections.

This skin model will be used for training for “ECMO” medical staff.

Skin model for cardiopulmonary bypass:

Advanced technology is required to install “ECMO”.

Due to the shortage of personnel, it is an urgent task to develop specialized human resources.

It has already been used at a training facility at Tohoku University and has been well received.

The model is a plate with a thickness of 3 cm,
The gel material has elasticity like the human body,
Place a tube imitating a blood vessel inside,

You can check the status of the pierced needle in real time with ultrasonic waves (echo).
