NIPPON SIGNAL ：Chennai Metro Extension 9 stations in India：for AFC system

Nippon Signal received an additional order for AFC system of Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL)
in India.
AFC system ：Chennai Metro Rail
This project is an extension of the Chennai Metro Project which was awarded to Nippon
Signal in 2011. The Extension stretch consists of 9 km / 9 stations (7 elevated stations and 2
underground stations)
Nippon Signal will supply Automatic Gates, Ticket Readers, Station
Servers which will be connected to the existing Central Computer and Central Clearing House
System (a system that enables interoperability with other bus and the railway business operators).
The Chennai Metro project was the first order for AFC system that Nippon Signal received in India.
