Pre-screening: 39 companies in 12 countries
The pre-screening included seven business entities consisting of 39 companies from 12 countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Spain, France, Italy, China, and Korea.
On April 1, the company announced six business entities that passed pre-screening for general competitive bidding for elevated “Bogota Metro” Line 1.
Vendors that passed the examination: 6 corporate entities
Bogota Metro Consortium,
APCA Metro Capital,
Sunrise Consortium,
APCA Transmi Metro,
Line 1 Consortium,
Six groups of Union Metrocapital.
The Sunrise Consortium is joined by Hitachi Rail Italy of the Hitachi Group.
The bid will be held in August and the winner will be decided by October.
