Chile High-speed Railway: International bidding in 2019 – Between Santiago and Valparaiso

Chilean President Pinella announced his intention to implement international bidding in 2019 on the railroad plan between Santiago and Valparaiso on 30th October.
In January 2018, a high-speed rail project by TVS (Tren Valparaiso Santiago) was announced.
Contents of the plan
Tren Valparaiso Santiago: Consortium of Sigudcopper and China Railroad Corporation in Chile
Total construction cost 1.6 billion: Operation scheduled to take place in Santiago, the capital – Valparaiso, 45 minutes
However, although this planning procedure was advanced, it was not possible to obtain approval from the Chilean government.
