Japan and the MLIT announced on August 31, “Supporting the US Texas High-Speed Railway Project.”
Funding (approx. 10.1 billion yen) to JOIN (Overseas Transportation and Urban Development Business Support Organization).
” the Texas high-speed railway business with the Japanese Shinkansen system” is expected to make a big step forward.
This project is being promoted as a business entity by Texas Central Partners (TCP) of the United States.
It is a symbolic project of Japan-U.S. Infrastructure cooperation.
In November 2015, we ‘ve been actively providing support, including ministerial approval for JOIN to TCP investment (about 4.9 billion yen).
