Nippon Signal has obtained certification for the quality management system / RQMS * 1 for the international railway industry.
About Quality Management System / RQMS:
In Europe, with the globalization of the railway industry, UNIFE * 2 has issued an IRIS * 3 quality management system evaluation standard.
This is based on “ISO 9001: 2015” and is mainly intended for equipment manufacturers that are installed in vehicles.
Since then, the target has been expanded to the entire system including ground equipment, and based on this IRIS, the international standardization organization ISO * 4 has issued RQMS.
Currently, IRIS or RQMS certification has been issued to about 2,000 organizations worldwide.
