“RIKEN” and “Mitsubishi Heavy Industries” have completed the world’s largest superconducting coil / toroidal magnetic field coil “TF coil” for the fusion experimental reactor eater “ITER”.

For a huge superconducting coil with a height of 16.5m, a width of 9m and a total weight of 300 tons, it has been manufactured with a precision of less than 1 / 10,000.
