Malaysia (MAA): New car sales in 1H 2019: 2.3% increase, 296,334 units

Malaysian Automobile Association (MAA):
On July 18, the company announced new vehicle sales for passenger cars and commercial vehicles in the first half of 2019 (January to June).
Sales volume: (See Table 1)
It increased for the second consecutive year to 296,334 units, up 2.3% year-on-year.
Production volume:
As the number of vehicles sold increased, production increased 1.5% to 285,028 units.
