Japan Automobile Importers Association (JAIA) announced the number of imported vehicles in the first half of 2019 (Jan-June).
The number of imported vehicles registered by foreign manufacturers decreased by 1.8% from the same period last year to 149,010.
It is the first time in 10 years, less than the previous year.
