On September 25, the Russian version of “Forbes” announced the ranking of foreign-affiliated companies in Russia.
Based on sales figures, the top 50 were revealed.
Japanese company ranking:
Five Japanese companies are ranked.
Toyota (2nd),
JTI (3rd),
Nissan (19th),
Mitsubishi Motors (22nd),
Komatsu (39th)
Ranking: Calculation method
“Forbes” Russian version is created every year.
For companies with a foreign capital ratio of more than 50%.
Total sales of companies that the company invests in Russia.
Not applicable because financial institutions and holding companies have different accounting standards.
Based on company annual report and data published in Interfax “Spark”.
If there are no official statistics, estimates by parent company and department are adopted.

Total sales of the top 50 companies are 6,360.7 billion rubles (about 10,813.2 billion yen, 1 rubles = about 1.7 yen)
This is an increase of 10.2% compared to the previous year.

Companies that have significantly increased their sales
China Huawei (2.1 times),
Mitsubishi Motors (2.0 times),
Komatsu (37.7% increase),
Korea KIA (up 36.3%),
Sweden VOLVO (33.0%),
British Lan shell (30.9%).
On the other hand, in the food, consumer goods, and retail fields, there were a series of companies that had decreased sales.

The largest industry ranked in the top 50 is 12 automobiles, followed by 11 food and tobacco companies.

US: 1st (11 companies)
Germany: 2nd place (9 companies)
Top 50 companies: replacement
Ranked companies: Germany’s leading DIY retailer Obi (46th) and US food giant Mondelez (49th).
Non-ranked companies: 48th in the previous year, French electronics giant Schneider Electric, and 50th in the previous year
