We have developed a “spatial optical phase modulator” optical component for laser metal processing.
It can withstand 3.5 times higher power laser light than conventional products. Welding and cutting of metal becomes easier.

The recently developed “X15213-03CL” has a light resistance performance of 700 watts.
3.5 times higher than before.
Even if a high-power laser is incident, the temperature rise of the liquid crystal layer is suppressed to prevent deterioration of performance.
Sapphire, which has 30 times the thermal conductivity of conventional products, is used for the cover glass that covers the liquid crystal layer where the laser is incident.
By enclosing a filler with high thermal conductivity, the heat dissipation performance was improved.
