U.S. Department of Commerce Census Bureau announced the annual income per household by the state (median) on 2017 September 13.

The top 10 states are the same as the previous year.

Maryland State ($ 80,766),

New Jersey ($ 80,088),

State of the northeast occupies the upper rank, such as state of Massachusetts ($ 77,385) (see table).

18 states exceeded the national median ($ 60,336).

However, 29 provinces were lower, and the three provinces (Nebraska, Oregon, Wyoming) were about the same level.

Compared to 2016, the median rose in many states, including 47 out of 50 nationwide states, increased year on year.
