BEA : Japanese investment in the US is third in the world , for the second consecutive year

The Department of Economic Analysis (BEA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce announced 2017 · Foreign direct investment balance from abroad to the United States (July 30).
Japan’s 2017 direct investment balance increased by 12.9%.
Looking at the foreign direct investment outstanding in the United States by 2017, the UK accounted for the largest amount at 614.9 billion dollars (7.5% increase from the previous year), followed by Canada by 523.8 billion dollars (14.5% increase), Japan by 476.9 billion dollars (12.9% Increase).
